Lamonte, Damian Ollie Lillard Sr. was born on July 15, 1990, and is a professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He played basketball for the Weber State Wildcats in college and was named third-team All-American in 2012. After being picked with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft by Portland, he was unanimously crowned NBA Rookie of the Year and was nicknamed “Dame Time” for his record of making clutch jumpers.
He has been named to six NBA All-Star and All-NBA Teams.
On March 29, 2018, he gave birth to his first child, Damian Jr. They lived in West Linn, a pleasant Portland neighborhood.
He launched the RESPECT agenda to assist high school students in the Portland metro area in graduating. He signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Adidas in 2012.
